Live performance cuts through the noise of modern life. In a world of endless scrolling and disposable content, it brings people together in one room, where artists and listeners share the same space, the same silence, and the same surge of sound.
Our 26/27 season invites you into seven immersive worlds shaped by four centuries of musical imagination, mastery, and passion. Mozart opens in celebration. Rare works from the Habsburg court return to life. Monteverdi speaks with striking directness, and Mendelssohn closes the circle by renewing tradition in his own voice.
Join us as great music comes to life as a shared human experience with Harmonia Stellarum.

SEASON’S SPECIAL
Concert 5
Maria Amalia:
Patronage
& Taste
Marie Antoinette’s sister Amalia was a gifted musician and patron. We bring her to life at Houston’s Rienzi through story and music.
February 21 / 2:00+5:00 pm
THIS YEAR, WE BRING A SPECIAL PROGRAM TO HOUSTON’S RIENZI, OFFERING BOTH MATINEE AND AFTERNOON PERFORMANCES IN THIS HISTORIC SETTING.
Inspired by Rienzi’s portrait of the duchess at the harpsichord, this special collaboration brings Marie Antoinette’s sister, a gifted musician and remarkable patron, Marie Amalia to life through storytelling and music composed for her.
At the Rienzi, our program finds its natural home: surrounded by original furnishings, paintings, and decorative arts from the 17th to mid-19th centuries, listeners are transported into the very atmosphere of Maria Amalia’s world.
Note that museum ticket is included in the subscription at no extra cost. You’ll also be able to select preferred Rienzi timeslot right at checkout.
