Claudio Monteverdi: Psalm settings for St. Caecilia’s Day

Thanks to an extremely generous donation by one of our patrons a dream is coming true: Harmonia Stellarum will soon get to perform with an Italian Renaissance organ. How else to celebrate the arrival of this breathtaking instrument than with Gregorian Chant for the feast of St Caecilia (the patron saint of Music) and Monteverdi’s lavish psalm settings.
